R10k Family Care Cover
No matter if is natural or accidental death, up to R10 000 will be paid to each nominated beneficiary, adding additional support to your Domestic Staff’s loved ones, in a time of grief. Each beneficiary will receive an amount of up to R10 000.
Paid Doctor Visits
These are unlimited but managed doctor visits, meaning that the doctor can be seen as many times as required. The first 5 visits will be paid for per annum, thereafter a co-payment of R75 will be charged. Doctor visits include all consultancy as well as some in-room procedures.
Health & Essentials Coupons
For an additional R75 per month, your Domestic Staff can look forward to enjoying up to R350 worth of discount coupons redeemable at Shoprite, Checkers, Checkers Hyper and Dis-Chem stores. Coupon discounts include savings on healthcare, personal care products and essential food items.
Dentistry
Basic dentistry which includes extracting, cleaning, examination, basic fillings, one emergency root canal treatment and treatment of pain and sepsis is covered. The full list of dentistry procedures that are covered can be found here.
Optometry
Optometry is included in the benefit makeup as an additional way to keep your Domestic Staff physically healthy. With a paid for eye test and a free set of glasses, common problems and preventative action can be remedied by a simple solution.
Radiology
Black and white diagnostic Xrays are paid for, assisting in finding the underlying issues to specific medical problems that your Domestic Staff could be facing. Take a look at the Xrays that are included in the plan.
Medication
Acute and chronic medication is paid for, according to the 1Doctor Health Formulary, giving your Domestic Staff free and accessible medication when they need it most. This medication can be attained either through our dispensing network of doctors or from a script at Clicks, Dischem or Medrite pharmacies nationwide.
Out of Area Visits
In the event that your Domestic Staff cannot see their Network GP, the Plan will allow 3 “out of area” visits per family per annum to an alternative Network GP or GP of your choice, subject to pre-authorisation.
